Our Story
The Trad Police, a group founded in 2023 by four San Antonio musicians, emerged from a shared passion for traditional jazz and its rich history. These accomplished musicians, already boasting impressive backgrounds, sought to further immerse themselves in the joy of jazz performance and study.
Why the name?
The Trad Police showcase traditional jazz from the 1900's to the 1940's. They wanted to include that fact. The Trad Police also wanted to show that they were going to be true to the era. They continue with their mission of 'Policing' their styles to those decades. (For the most part.)
